Just want to say a huge Thank You to Dennis for his brilliant appearance at Enniskillen on the 2nd. You surpassed my (already high) expectations Mr Locorriere, and many kudos to you for doing so. So glad you were a one-man show (e.g. without a backing band) - it left the whole evening so much more intimate.

The inclusion of some of your new songs was a delight, and they show another side of you.

Having read your blog about some of the advertising campaign for your forthcoming tour to promote your new album, I completely agree with your frustration and anger at the 'churning out the old classics' slant to the articles and promotional bumph. You have very succinctly stated how you feel and I just want you to know I agree with you completely. Is an artist expected to vegetate and wallow in the pool of their past successes until the said pool goes stagnant and shallow? No, you must go on and fulfill and explore your ever-changing artistic talent and destiny - as your new songs so clearly demonstrate.

My Other Half was greatly taken by the frankness and feelings expressed in your song to your son Jesse. I enjoyed every new song Dennis, maybe better than some of the old ones (which were very familiar to me. When a song makes an impression on a first hearing - it's such a good sign of the material.

Hope you come to see us in Enniskillen again and hold us in thrall and enthralledfor a couple more hours with your music, musings and light.

Thanks again Dennis,

Ziggy

Wonderful words to hear, Ziggy.

I couldn't agree more Ziggy. I had never seen Dennis before monday night, but have always loved his voice. The live performance however was something else. I love the ardhowen because it feels so intimate. From my seat, middle and a few rows back, I had the pleasure of not only listening to some first class music, but watching a top class performer. I loved the new material and can't wait to hear the album.

Thank you once again for a great evening and hopefully you will return to these parts soon.

Karen
