I read somewhere, YouTube I think, that Waylon Jennings is singing harmony on the song, What About You?.
Listening again, it sounds like his voice but, is it really or just the power of suggestion?

Yes, that is the late, great Waylon Jennings singing with me on What About You?, from the A Little Bit More album.
It's also his band, The Waylors, playing the track.
And, to take it further, it was Waylon who suggested that 'we' record the song.
It was originally released by country duo, Johnny (Wright) and Jack (Anglin), written by Jack Anglin.
After I'd done the lead vocal, Waylon came in and did the harmony.
Once he was happy with his I went in and changed a few of my lines and Waylon responded by 'fixing' a few of his.
It was finally decided that we quit or we'd be in there all day and night, trying to make ech of our vocals better.
Waylon once told me that if I ever left Hook (lefthook? ouch!), I'd always have a job playing rhythm guitar in his band.
Nice to have something to fall back on, I guess.
He was a great talent and one of the true originals
His presence is sorely missed in country music today. ~
